Under the leadership of
China
CDC, National Center for Rural Water Supply Technical
Guidance (briefed as NCRWSTG) was founded in 1991 with a
former title of China Rural Water Supply Technical Center
(CRWSTC). It was directly affiliated to the National Patriotic
Health Campaign Committee, responsible for business guidance
and technical service of rural water supply and latrine
improvement around China.
Since
1996, the Center started to be responsible for the daily
and management work of the
World
Bank financed China rural water supply and sanitation
projects.
On
January 23, 2002, the Center was renamed as NCRWSTG, and
become a professional technical and guiding institution
of rural water supply and latrine improvement of Chinese
Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
